EQUIPMENT

AMPLIFIERS:

144-Channel DBPA-1 system by Sensorium Inc.

CAPS:

Ag/AgCl Caps by Electrode Arrays.

SOFTWARE:

Data acquisition is controlled by Acquire, a proprietary software from Sensorium written in LabView.

Stimulus Presentation is controlled using E-prime 2.0 or the Psychophysics Toolbox (MATLAB).
Data Analysis is conducted using EMSE (Source Signal Imaging) and a set of customized routines in MATLAB.

DIGITIZATION:

Electrode coordinates are digitized for co-registration with structural MR images using the Patriot by Polhemus.

Experiments are conducted in the Psychology Department's state-of-the-art EEG lab.  This lab space includes a "control room" (top left), housing the data acquisition and stimulus presentation computers, and a "recording room."  Participants are seated in an electrically shielded booth while recordings are made (top right).

Data analysis, and equipment maintenance are conducted in room 1088 of the Integrated Science Center.  There are also accommodations for behavioral research in this space.
